Another Gaza Freedom Flotilla Boat Intercepted
As Israel continues to blockade Gaza, as they halt food trucks on the border while children cry from hunger and babies die, as the Israeli military guns down frantic parents lining up for the pittance of aid available, the Gaza Freedom Flotilla has made another brave attempt to bring in needed food, baby formula and other humanitarian aid. Israeli forces intercepted them last night, and as of this moment, we don’t know their fate.
If you are in the U.S. you can pressure the State Department to assure the safety of American citizens who were on board the Handala. If you are from France, the UK, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Australia, Norway or Morocco, contact your government officials to protect their citizens.
It’s vital that we keep international pressure on the Israelis to end the seige, let aid into Gaza that can be distributed by the U.N. and other trusted organizations to distribute aid, stop the bombing and end the assault on the people of Gaza. No decent human being can justify the mass starvation of another people, and there are no excuses for denying food to hungry children. The pressure is working—they are now allowing in a trickle of aid but it is nowhere near enough. Now is the time to speak out and take action. Only justice can secure peace for the people of the Middle East.

Hello Starhawk. It’s simply horrific. Words beggar description. I’m heartbroken 💔 And I’m of Hebrew descent. However I openly call this genocide out and denounce it. I love Israel my ancestral homeland as it ideally should be but not this alien nation which is what it’s become. Shameful. I love children and babies especially though all humanity too so this sickens my sensibilities and sense of decency. This horror must end though it should never have even started. I’m sure our Mother is weeping over what’s happening on Her sacred space as all Earth is sacred. We’re going to stop this madness together🤝Blessed be Starhawk and friends.
I deeply appreciate the international work that is focused on eliminating horrific suffering in Palestine. And, I gently remind us all that RACISM can leave serious blind spots on what breaks our heart.
