🎙️PODCAST + VIDEO: Strategy with Daniel Hunter (interview)

Strategy. Soul. Steadiness.

I have been wanting to speak to Daniel Hunter from Freedom Trainers for some time, and am delighted to share with you a conversation I had with him for this special series on strategy. He’s an old friend, and a protegé of the great nonviolence trainer George Lakey, who helped start Movement for a New Society, the group that trained the early anti-nuclear movement and many others in nonviolent direct action, horizontal organizing and distributed decision-making.

Together, we look at the underpinnings of effective social and environmental movements through decentralized organizing, nonviolent resistance, and strategic planning. All crucial for challenging authoritarian regimes and creating lasting change.

Freedom Trainers offers many great resources, including free online trainings that I encourage you to explore.

Watch or listen here on Substack, or on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. And thank you, Daniel, for sharing your soul and steadiness with our community!
