Thanks for doing this. I had wanted to watch it live, but another zoom went over. The question Daniel asked about 25 year old white men, how many of them are feeling right now, I think that needs a session for itself. Because they have been raised with tech. Using it, understanding it, seems to be in their DNA now. I’ve seen it in my grandchildren. So there’s a different mindset in this generation, especially of young white men. And even into their 30s. There’s an anger, a feeling of being given a raw deal and they have a “need” to make that right for themselves, and not always in a good or compassionate way. I have no clue on percentages, but it seems to me from what I’m feeling in my gut, it’s a good 30%, maybe slightly more. I also see how wonderful many young men are as dads too. Way more involved than most fathers, though I was blessed with a father who was very different than the “normal” fathers of my generation. I’m 73. Anyway, it’s an important thing to address. I hope you two get together again for Part 2.

Musk et al wanting gene destruction selection for “survival of our species”. He feels he is idealistic. Can you speak to this? Also to those who see western civilization and feminism as the problem.

These techno bros are so lost, on ketamine and sociopathic paranoia based world views. But also how can we stand against a surveillance totalitarian AI global world being established at the behest of fossil fuel driven power interests?

How can we spread this understanding and knowledge through all the different community social media channels?

What about how our national interests have poorly corresponded with that of our fellow travelers on our planet and how their unmet needs might be behind some of the downward destructive forces now downgrading our democracy? Can we stand for the central ethics Jefferson said was essential to the survival of our republic?

Unfortunately, the "Left" weaponized Belonging and Inclusion in a manner which lead white heterosexual males to feel permenantly unworthy of belonging, unless we subjugated ourselves to leftist values. The "left" exhibited no respect for healthy, maculinity. It lumped all men together, shading our assertiveness as toxic and our self-confidence as arrogant. The "left" poisoned it's own well and now must drink the bitter waters of it's own creation.

How would you define healthy masculinity? What qualities or attributes would you want to see more explicitly valued?

Men have evolved over millions of years to protect and provide for women and children. (Self-serving men are a cultural abberation, which is why self-serving men never find true happiness, regardless of their power or wealth.) Men are designed by nature to serve their tribes. A man can find complete life satisfaction in the simple world of caring for his family and neighbors. We build what needs to be built, we fix what's broken, and we provide resources to our tribes. We use our greater physical size and strength to assist others and to perform tasks for our tribes that would be difficult for smaller individuals. We apply our intellect to solving problems real world and providing solutions. Men create safe spaces where women and children can thrive.

Men work best when we are side-by-side, (not face-to-face as women prefer), because evolution has shaped us to always be surveying our surroundings, so we converse with our brothers and work together side-by-side (research suggests that optimal male-to-male exposure angle is about 120 degrees), often without frequent eye contact (men have evolved to subconsciously interpret prolonged eye contact with another male as a challenge). Men form bonds through labor and difficulty.

Men are explicit creatures, so we like our rules and agreements to be clearly stated and free from ambiguity. Hence, men can struggle with sublte, implicit social nuances when interacting wth women. Men are rational, and capable of subjugating our emotions to reason. These qualities are both assets and liabilities. The liabilities are balanced by healthy associations with women and children and the assets are meant to serve women and children. This is the Way.
