This is great news & guidance. Your posts - book has been excellent. Thank you!

I would say at this moment the research on your incumbent democrats is vital. They are as responsible for the genocide in Gaza as the Israeli government is. The history of AIPAC tells a story of Zionism infested in the incumbent democrats for the last 20 years much more than original support for Israel was ever intended. It’s about money & influence. The weaponry to commit mass murder. —- I’m supporting the New Democrats. The Squad. AOC, Bernie. All those candidates David Hogg is bringing along. I’m looking at the history of every Rep or Senator incumbent.

Yes--I'm thinking of them as the Vertebrate Democrats, as opposed to the spineless ones!

One more niche in the peace movement work is to be building the world we want in our communities. I’m thinking of co-ops, mutual aid societies, all the climate work, spiritual communities, child care networks, finding the people we can trust and building solid relationships.

when you wrote The Fifth Sacred Thing, I read it as a fantasy novel; when we bombed Iraq in Operation Desert storm (Iraq, right--not Iran/not Afghanistan-- I get KKKonfused 😵‍💫), I read it again as a guide to resistance.

And from a place of resistance, I see an unidentified pool of individuals who have been indoctrinated and addicted similar to the soldiers in your novel.

That would be American women 35 to 55. they will need a serious detox in order to support our anti-fascist movement.

Back in 2016, Big Pharma quietly began a push towards a new diagnosis "PERIMENOPAUSE"

...now women 35 and older are beginning to carry an expectation that they will have 4 to 14 years of "a transition" that can best be managed with "better living through chemistry": supplemental hormones, antidepressants and anticonvulsants (!), "topical" hormones that still have systemic effects. Now there's a new drug so strange that the marketers won't even give you--the consumers-- the information they give me as an MD (see photo attached)

I will be at your webinar today as I need all the help I can get with strategizing future actions!

Alwasys grateful to have your perspective! I didn't have a lot of trouble with menopause and didn't do any of the supplements--now I'm grateful.

me neither: r.e. menopause “problems” and allopathic medical support!

…and I find it truly worrisome to see these bozos messing around with shit they don't understand. Look at what our bodies were supposed to be doing over that transformative time that MAKES FOR HOT FLASHES. I am certainly not trusting this for profit system to take women to safely to our postmenopausal power and zest using “their” drugs/regimens for care.

A very frightening bill to say the least. It’s a potentially murderous bill Starhawk. It’s anti human and not for anyone but for the elite rich. Basically a tax cut for the rich. Slashing Medicaid will deprive people of needed medical coverage they can’t otherwise afford therefore resulting in loss of life. It’s a CRIMINAL bill. This administration ignores protests and does what it wants regardless of the people’s wishes. It’s a totalitarian dictatorship or certainly heading that way rapidly. It doesn’t respect even highest court rulings. It’s a rogue government. But there’s always hope and it has to rise up in my USA friends hearts resulting in overturning this repressive regime and quickly because this “government” isn’t sitting on their hands. The people mustn’t either nor become beaten down and stripped of their will to reclaim their inherent human rights. Freedom will rise but with an organized and united hopefully non violent resistance with responsible intelligent leadership from someone among the people. A peaceful revolution but it’s an imperative must. I love my USA friends and I’m an empath so I feel for you all and am with you in this. Blessed be and stay strong and healthy and safe.

This is one of the best and most informative articles of yours that I have read, Starhawk!

However, what I feel is (and has been) missing from your perspective, is Zionism, which has linked arms with Fascism and which empowers it exponentially. I am speaking about both Christian Zionism and OK-with-Genocide Jewish Zionism in the US.

Hi Starhawk—

Your post is very thoughtful, but there is one thing that you are mis-stating.

Elections are not as easily rigged as you are suggesting.

That’s not to say that voter suppression and gerry manders are not real, but it has never been easier to get a ballot in one’s hands.

You can vote early, by mail, or on Election Day.

What’s been missing is people have NOT been motivated to turn out.

Big Waves of Voters will always overwhelm voter suppression.

Yes, that's one key strategy to protect elections. As I said above, I can't even weigh in on the data-rigging question, it's outside the area of my expertise, as my lawyer partner would say. But the voter suppression is real, and it compounds the problem of voters not turning out.

couldn't cut and paste the screenshot. The drug is fezolinetant:

(Not sure how to communicate in ways that won't be misunderstood ... This is an attempt to build a bridge, & suggest a path that includes allies in independent media who are also horrified at how ICE is treating human beings, who never trusted Trump, but who also, for good reason, never trusted "Biden", and saw that the last administration inflicted profound horrors, they just weren't as obvious as raids with large guns and locking innocent people in dungeons. But they were still crimes against humanity.

** (Trying to speak to this context is Not minimizing, defending, or denying the cruelty happening now.) **

https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/context-catastrophes-and-selective (Selective empathy, on all sides ... )

Question ~ If it's OK to now wonder if elections were stolen, is it possible to re-think the past four years, when questioning election results was equated with everything from ignorance and misinformation to domestic terrorism?

(Some of the people I name here, who have earned trust, may invoke immediate negative reactions. The narrative gave them "cooties". I invite anyone curious and open-minded to read my first Substack article, especially the section "Beware the Wikipedia, etc., Trap" - https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/information-permaculture-and-cooties

Elections may be decided by forces behind the scenes. Trump may not have fairly won the first time. Mark Crispin Miller, media studies professor and longtime progressive, has done a lot of study and work around election fraud, and thinks that Trump was placed in power in 2016, and again now. MCM is more trustworthy than Greg Palast, because MCM looks for what's true, not just when it shows the "other side" cheated. https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/what-do-bob-saget-taylor-hawkins?utm_source=publication-search

(And MCM was correct, from the beginning, on a topic so tragically divisive and damaging, it created a rupture in humanity, that must be reckoned with.)

". . . despite the wishful thinking of his fans, Trump couldn’t have prevailed if those who work both parties’ strings did not prefer him to serve their purposes." - Mark Crispin Miller (This is a great article, even before the paywall, after the paywall are various examples of ICE's cruelty, some to Trump supporters - https://markcrispinmiller.substack.com/p/trump-adoration-syndrome-better-than-trump-derangement-syndrome

As MCM says, the media has lost all credibility - which is now a tragedy, because some of what they're saying is true.

"Thus the press has long since lost all credibility, and not just with Trump’s base; which is, to say the least, a shame, since that vitriolic bias has now made it unlikely that millions will believe a word of what they say, no matter how well-evidenced or consequential. . . Had the media not gone hog wild on “Russia-gate,” lionized Stormy Daniels, and otherwise kept shrieking about trivial or non-existent scandals, they’d be far better able to report those bad ideas and vicious practices the likes of which we did not see in Trump 45; and, in that imaginary case, Trump’s followers, or some of them, would be far likelier to listen than to seethe."

Starhawk, when you say "maggots", I (think) you mean Trump and those at high levels of government, but many use that slur to refer to everyone who supports Trump, and/ or everyone who voted for Trump. That reinforces the stereotype of progressives who speak of tolerance and diversity but dehumanize those who think differently.

When the left calls Trump supporters "maggots", and says that Trump voters deserve to die in floods ... it makes unity all the more difficult. (I know you didn't say that about the floods, but many others did)

https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/big-not-beautiful-blame (Not surprisingly, a doctor who posted that only "non-MAGA voters" should be safe from the floods, was the same doctor who tried to get medical licenses taken away from doctors who were successfully treating COVID, showing compassion for the vaccine injured, and - correctly - warning against the shots that Democrats were pushing so hard that that surely cost them the election (if elections are honest).

And even if elections are not honest, pushing those injections so hard - and censoring and gaslighting the injured - when all along there were much safer treatments, is what cost the left / Democrats profoundly in terms of support, credibility, everything.

https://jeremiahhosea.substack.com/p/covid-killed-the-left

https://jeremiahhosea.substack.com/p/the-untouchables

(If the narrative was correct, if the shots were imperfect but the only way through, the only way to take care of each other, to step up and take a (small) risk, then the injection-pushing left may have had a point (no pun intended). But it was all built on lies, that can be followed all the way down.

https://merylnass.substack.com/p/my-submission-to-the-slovakian-investigation

https://merylnass.substack.com/p/how-a-false-hydroxychloroquine-narrative

There's reasons why some people won't stop mentioning COVID. A reckoning has to happen, the wound was too huge. It is the "story that diagnoses the system", as a wise, pragmatic voice of reason given cooties by the narrative has said.

*If anyone is reading this far, you may be thinking now that I'm dismissing the severity of COVID, or denying its existence. Not at all.*

The profound tragedy of demonizing *Doctors Who Were Treating COVID* was that's where the common ground is - yes, it's potentially serious, and - yes, natural medicines, for all their good uses, aren't strong enough on their own to mitigate COVID for many people, especially the vulnerable. That's why the narrative flooded the information zone with gaslighting about designed-to-fail "studies" to turn the public against repurposed drugs, and the doctors using them.

https://www.brokentruth.tv/p/shots-heard-alumnus-dr-christina

The same media that gaslit parents about children dying while playing sports, that framed a Human medicine as "horse de-wormer" is reporting ICE is targeting innocent people. Those jaded by years of media lies assume they're leaving something out. Sometimes they are leaving things out - like how politicians' descriptions of MacArthur Park are the opposite of reality - https://chrisbray.substack.com/p/this-is-not-politics-and-it-perfectly

Those years of gaslighting created a mechanism where it's natural to assume they're Always leaving things out/ inverting reality. That especially sucks for the truly innocent people who are targeted by ICE, defended by the ACLU, and their stories told by Rolling Stone, etc, etc.

Rolling Stone, and others, Mocked the Vaccine Injured. They Mocked the film "Sound of Freedom", about Sex Trafficking of Pre-Pubescent Children. They mocked people who went to see the film. They mocked the COVID doctors.

Yet still, the journalists with the most integrity and solid track records, like MCM, Derrick Broze, James Corbett, Last American Vagabond, etc., don't dismiss everything said in the mainstream media automatically, they sift through with due diligence, reminding that it's not where something is found, but if it's true that matters.

Sometimes the media mentions in a limited way, things they've been saying for years.(https://derrickbroze.substack.com/p/trumps-big-brother-bill-expands-the-f67https://derrickbroze.substack.com/p/no-kings-protesters-in-houston-tx - Derrick interviews No Kings protesters, with respect and curiosity and finds common ground.

The selective empathy - on Both Sides - is astounding. Yet the individuals suffering are real.

But in context, there were profound horrors during the last administration. I'm not saying this to excuse or dismiss anything, but to humanize those who voted a certain way, or who can't stomach anything from the political party and media who inflicted horrors that took place inside peoples' bodies after they became disabled from being *forced to "choose" injection or income - and only those with enough money in reserve could actually choose*.

Everything Democrats say about protecting the vulnerable rings empty - worse than empty - until this is reckoned with.

Horrors during the last administration took place when the government became literally a child trafficking delivery service. When whistleblowers spoke out, they were fired.

In this context, please have compassion for those who made a different calculation and voted differently. https://anotherbetrayedliberal.substack.com/p/note-for-liberals-and-progressives (Note for liberals and progressives who assume every Trump voter sided against the vulnerable)

These are some voices of integrity with good track records, who never trusted Trump for real reasons, who also saw the lies in the narrative all along, and who see that we're being pitted against each other.
