Love the pictures! Thanks Starhawk for sharing them. Everyone looks so happy! Real Earthmothers with Nature.Pure basics. I really believe we need to get back to an agricultural society and system for the survival of our Mother whom we came from and live upon as well as our own survival. I studied anthropology and indeed found that the healthiest societies were and are agricultural ones. I’m all for progress and for technology that aids agricultural products and services however without exploiting Earth’s natural resources for corporate profit and consumption with greed being the prime motivation. Keep up the awesome work Starhawk and gang in helping protect Her and whatever precious treasures She has to share with us for our survival and also to thrive. I’m really going Green and Brown in my living though I’m a downtown messenger of envelopes in Montreal Canada.Your books and spiritual insights have totally revolutionized my life within and without little by little as I’m a constant work in progress as we all are though probably you’re all way farther ahead than I am. Blessed be.
Hi Starhawk, thank you so much for this inspiring interview. Brandy has thought deeply about our place on earth. As I follow earth based female spirituality this was close to my heart.
One of my focuses is how to be in continued committed relationships and keep the vision. Starhawk, please let us know about your visits to these communities this summer.
Great interview with Brandy. I and Kate Greenway visited OUR Ecovillage two years ago and spent some time with Brandy. I was very impressed with her vast experience and deep wisdom re: the difficulties and challenges with personal relationships and legal restrictions that she and the village have faced. Also critical was the issue of folks "aging out" of remote living and needing to move closer to urban medical facilities. It seemed obvious to me that Brandy possesses a deep, deep, hard-earned wisdom that should somehow be collected/recorded and rendered available to the likely younger people who would like to experience the ecovillage/collective living model. Is anyone available to work with her to create an autobiography or a deep, how-to do an ecovillage treatise?

Going as green as possible in the city is just as important as going green in the countryside!
I enjoyed & learned from this post - & the podcast.

What a good idea! And please give Kate my love, it's been far too long since we've seen each other!
